HCL Software - Product Sales Specialist – AppScan
Territory: Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio
The Role
Join HCL’s fast-growing software business and help secure applications across the Midwest. As a Product Sales Specialist, you’ll drive new logo acquisition and expand existing accounts in Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, and Ohio. You’ll collaborate with sales teams, channel partners, and technical advisors to deliver AppScan solutions that address client security and DevOps challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Hunt and close new business opportunities while managing pipeline and hitting quota
- Deliver product demos, value presentations, and technical insights to clients
- Partner with resellers, sales teams, and HCL’s technical advisors to accelerate deal closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers at multiple levels
- Develop deep territory knowledge across assigned industries and competitors
- Represent AppScan at conferences and industry events
- Contribute to regional sales plays and customer retention initiatives
What You’ll Bring
- 3-5 years of enterprise software sales experience (Application Security or DevOps preferred)
- Proven pipeline generation and revenue growth track record
- Strong business acumen and ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders
- Knowledge of application security landscape and DevOps trends
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management and goal-setting ability
- Integrity, team orientation, and drive for results
