Commercial Lines Product Intern (hybrid/remote opportunity)

Location: Columbus, OH (hybrid/remote)

Work Schedule: 10-15 hours per week

Duration: 6 months (flexible start date, at earliest possible date)

Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Commercial Lines Products team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the commercial insurance industry, providing exposure to product development, market analysis, and underwriting strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist in the research, development, and maintenance of commercial lines insurance products (e.g., general liability, commercial property, workers’ compensation, business auto)
• Assist with building and maintaining rating worksheets in Excel to support product pricing and analysis
• Help prepare product documentation, rate filings, and coverage forms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including underwriting, actuarial, claims, and compliance
• Contribute to various special projects and initiatives

What You’ll Bring To The Company:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Interest in the insurance industry and commercial lines products
