What you’ll do

• Review inpatient clinical records and determine the appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes

• Determine the principal diagnosis, secondary diagnoses, code sequencing, and Present on Admission indicators

• Review each MS-DRG assignment to ensure complications and comorbidities are captured correctly

• Review coding annotations for errors or omissions; clarify ambiguous documentation and complex cases in clear notes

Who this is for

• An active Certified Coding Specialist (CCS, AHIMA) or Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC, AAPC) credential

• Fluent English with clear written and verbal communication
