Job Description
• $80–$110 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• 20 or more hours a week, you choose when
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the contract expertise you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real legal professionals. The teams building them need technology transactions attorneys who can create realistic contract scenarios, judge how accurately the AI identifies risk and interprets language, provide the legal analysis a practicing attorney would give, and explain exactly where the AI’s judgment falls short. Your expertise helps shape the next generation of legal AI. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Use SaaS agreements and other technology contracts in mock negotiation and redline exercises
• Assess the AI’s handling of contract scenarios, including accuracy, risk spotting and legal judgment
• Provide clear, practice-grounded feedback on how contract language should be interpreted
• Set the evaluation framework and scoring standards used for contract-focused AI tasks
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $80–$110 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier legal AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most technology transactions attorneys will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping legal work, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• A J.D. earned at an ABA-accredited law school, plus active admission in a minimum of one U.S. bar or other U.S. legal jurisdiction
• A minimum of three years of in-house work focused on technology transactions
• Professional fluency in English and hands-on negotiation of data processing agreements, nondisclosure agreements and master services agreements
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $80–$110 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• 20 or more hours a week, you choose when; fully remote, United States
