Job Description
• $45–$65 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• About 15 hours a week, you choose when
Work on the cutting edge of AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the competitive programming expertise you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real experts. The teams building them need competitive programmers who can design difficult original problems, judge whether model submissions meet the requirements, write the reference solutions and tests a professional would use, and explain exactly where a solution falls short. Your judgment becomes part of how the next generation of AI models solves complex programming problems. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.
What you’ll do
• Create original competitive programming problems unavailable on online judges
• Produce reference solutions, then build test suites to run against AI model submissions
• Build robust C++ checkers that correctly handle problems accepting multiple valid outputs
• Review each submission for compliance with the problem requirements, refine specifications with the project team, and document checker logic clearly
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid the equivalent of $45–$65 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI systems and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most competitive programmers will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping software development and competitive programming, and the people who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• Hands-on expertise analyzing problems for competitive programming contests
• Advanced C++ proficiency, including development of reliable checkers
• Strong analytical skills, clear communication in writing and speech, careful review habits, and the ability to validate code accurately
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $45–$65 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
• About 15 hours a week, you choose when; fully remote, United States
