Job Description
• $40–$80 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the military reporting expertise you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real experts. The teams building them rely on professionals who report on military operations and Department of Defense activity to create realistic reporting scenarios, assess AI-generated work, write the report a practitioner would deliver, and point out exactly where the system falls short. Your judgment helps shape how the next generation of AI handles complex information for senior leadership. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.
What you’ll do
• Create and refine realistic military operations reporting scenarios, including weekly activity and status reports
• Check AI-produced reports for correct military terminology and sound reporting procedures
• Assess whether information from multiple staff sections has been turned into clear executive updates
• Write precise feedback on after-action and budget execution reports, explaining where the AI missed the mark
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $40–$80 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, an opportunity most professionals handling DoD reports and military operations will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping operational reporting across defense organizations, and the people who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• Have worked within the U.S. Department of Defense for at least three years as a uniformed service member, a DoD civilian, or both
• Have direct experience producing regular reports and briefing materials for senior leaders in the military or Department of Defense
• Fluent English, strong written communication skills, and practical knowledge in areas such as program management, executive support, resource management, military operations, plans, headquarters, or command staff
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $40–$80 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
