Job Description
• $70–$100 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of medical AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the clinical judgment you already use every day.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real medical professionals. The teams building them need hospitalist physicians who can review realistic inpatient records, judge whether clinical claims are supported, state what the documentation should show, and explain what is missing or inconsistent. Your clinical judgment helps improve how the next generation of AI systems understands medical records. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Review clinical notes, inpatient records and structured health data in the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) format
• Check clinical claims against the underlying record
• Evaluate histories of present illness and past medical histories
• Identify missing, incorrect or inconsistent information in assessments and plans, then communicate clear review conclusions
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $70–$100 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Use your clinical judgment to help teams train and evaluate medical AI using realistic inpatient records
• Apply the documentation review and clinical reasoning skills you already use to a different kind of part-time work
• Fully remote work with a flexible schedule and no commute
Who this is for
• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine
• Inpatient or hospitalist practice now or within the past two years, plus strong English for assessing records and explaining your findings
• Strong attention to detail and confidence reviewing clinical notes, FHIR data and hospital workflows
• No prior AI training work is listed as a requirement; current clinical expertise is essential.
Pay and details
• $70–$100 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
