Overview: Sentara Therapy St Luke’s is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant in Carrollton, Virginia This is a Full-time, Day shift opportunity with great benefits. As a Physical Therapy Assistant , you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.

Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions by accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures.

Participates/assists with updates in the formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.

Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training.

Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and families to improve patient outcomes. Productive and efficient in daily operations.

Qualifications: Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant

Certification :

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $32.18 - $47.43 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
