Job Description
• $140–$400 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the M&A expertise you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real legal professionals. The teams building them need M&A lawyers who can work through realistic deal scenarios, judge how well the AI handles them, write the answer an experienced attorney would give, and explain exactly where the analysis falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of AI models for legal work. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice.
What you’ll do
• Annotate deal scenarios and research M&A, private equity and related litigation questions
• Evaluate AI answers using project guidelines for private equity deals and transaction documents
• Draft the expert answer for scenarios involving M&A and corporate law
• Explain where the analysis falls short, using clear reasoning about related litigation and transaction structures
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $140–$400 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most M&A lawyers will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping legal work, and the lawyers who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• Juris Doctor from an accredited US law school, plus active US bar admission
• Expertise in M&A legal document review, with knowledge of private equity, corporate advisory work and related litigation
• Experience at an Am Law 100 or other leading US law firm is preferred
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $140–$400 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
