Job Description
• $100–$130 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the contract judgment you already have.
The AI systems that are changing legal work are trained and tested by practicing attorneys. The teams building them need commercial technology attorneys who can work through realistic contract scenarios, judge whether AI responses identify legal risks accurately, write the answer a legal professional would give, and explain clearly where the AI falls short. Your contract judgment becomes part of how the next generation of legal AI understands agreements and responds to risk. This is that work, done remotely around your current legal practice.
What you’ll do
• Work through mock negotiations and redlines on technology agreements
• Check whether AI answers to contract scenarios are accurate and catch the real risks
• Write grading criteria that measure how well AI performs on contract work
• Explain contract decisions in clear, actionable feedback
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid the equivalent of $100–$130 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most commercial technology attorneys will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping legal work, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• At least three years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions, including negotiating and reviewing MSAs, NDAs and DPAs
• Professional fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication and careful analytical judgment
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $100–$130 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
