Job Description
• $90–$130 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• Fully flexible schedule
Work on the cutting edge of legal AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the contract judgment you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real legal professionals. The teams building them need technology transactions attorneys who can work through realistic contract exercises, judge how well AI handles contract language, write the answer a practicing lawyer would give, and explain exactly where the AI falls short. Your judgment becomes part of how the next generation of legal AI understands risk, negotiation and commercial terms. This is that work, done remotely around your current job.
What you’ll do
• Write grading criteria that measure how well AI handles technology deal documents
• Redline tech deal paperwork such as MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs and derivatives agreements
• Play out mock negotiations and weigh what each proposed clause means legally and commercially
• Check AI answers for accuracy, risk spotting and sound legal judgment, then write feedback that improves them
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid the equivalent of $90–$130 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier legal AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most technology transactions attorneys will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping legal contract review, and the lawyers who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote, fully flexible, no minimum shift, no commute
Who this is for
• At least 3 years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions
• Hands-on experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating and redlining commercial contracts, such as MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs or derivatives agreements
• Professional fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication and structured legal reasoning
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $90–$130 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor
• Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
