FreeCAD, Mechanical CAD & Assembly Design Experts. Remote AI Project

We are seeking experienced FreeCAD specialists, mechanical engineers, CAD designers, aerospace engineers, industrial designers, and assembly modeling experts to create precise, technically rigorous evaluation content based on real multi-part CAD assemblies.

You will inspect CAD models, understand their geometry and mechanical relationships, and create objective question-and-answer sets with exact, verifiable answers.

What You’ll Do

• Review complex multi-part mechanical assemblies
• Inspect geometry, dimensions, constraints, and component relationships
• Understand the functional purpose of parts within an assembly
• Create multiple technical questions for each CAD assembly
• Ensure questions require genuine engineering or CAD reasoning
• Write exact, objective, and independently verifiable answers
• Avoid ambiguous, subjective, or guessable questions
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical design information
• Identify dimensions, clearances, interfaces, orientations, and assembly relationships
• Document ambiguities or unusual modeling decisions discovered during review
• Incorporate reviewer feedback and refine technical content
• Produce clear, assessment-ready engineering material
• Collaborate asynchronously with other engineering and project experts

Requirements

• Strong professional background in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial design, CAD design, or a closely related discipline
• Significant hands-on experience with mechanical CAD
• Strong understanding of multi-part assemblies
• Ability to interpret complex geometry and engineering drawings
• Familiarity with FreeCAD or a comparable parametric CAD platform
• Strong mechanical and spatial reasoning
• Ability to create objective and technically verifiable questions
