Web Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy robust web applications using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and popular frameworks like React, Angular, and Vue.js.
• Build scalable server-side solutions utilizing frameworks such as Django, Spring Framework, ASP.NET Core, Ruby on Rails, and Node.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to enable seamless data exchange across platforms using JSON, XML, GraphQL, SOAP, and other protocols.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop wireframes and prototypes that enhance user flows and ensure responsive web design across devices.
• Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite, and others to store and retrieve application data efficiently.
• Integrate third-party tools such as WordPress, Drupal, and e-commerce platforms to extend website functionalities.
• Employ version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, SVN, or TFS to track changes and facilitate team collaboration within Agile software development cycles.
• Utilize DevOps practices with tools like Jenkins, Docker containers, Ansible automation, CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Optimize website performance for SEO best practices while ensuring scalability and security standards are met using AWS or Azure cloud services.
• Conduct unit testing and code reviews to maintain high-quality codebases; leverage developer tools such as Visual Studio or similar IDEs for efficient development workflows.

Experience

• Proven experience in full-stack web development with a strong portfolio of web applications built using JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular alongside backend technologies such as Django or Spring Framework.
• Solid understanding of system architecture principles including scalability, responsiveness, security best practices (OAuth2, SSL/TLS), and performance optimization techniques.
• Hands-on experience working with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Microsoft SQL Server) as well as NoSQL options like MongoDB.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), automation tools (Ansible), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment processes.
• Knowledge of web design principles including UX/UI best practices; experience creating wireframes or prototypes is a plus.
• Ability to work within Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban using project management tools like Jira or Trello.
• Strong understanding of web standards including HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/SCSS), JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript; experience with Bootstrap or similar frameworks is desirable.

Pay: $84,300.00 - $102,000.00 per year
