Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Home Improvement)

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Home Improvement) to serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking flooring solutions. In this role, you will manage inbound inquiries, schedule appointments, and coordinate between customers and installation teams using a CRM system to track leads and maintain records in both English and Spanish.

Client Overview

Our client is a well-established flooring company based in Texas, specializing in high-end luxury vinyl plank, hardwood installation, and custom countertops. They serve a diverse customer base across the region and are expanding their customer service team to provide extended coverage and better serve their growing clientele.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM CT (30 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer calls and respond to inquiries about flooring products and services
• Conduct follow-up calls with current leads and customers who missed previous contact attempts
• Ask qualifying questions to understand customer flooring needs and project requirements
• Schedule appointments between customers and installation teams based on availability
• Enter customer details, interactions, and project information into the CRM system (Close)
• Provide bilingual support in both English and Spanish to serve the diverse customer base
• Handle customer concerns professionally, even during challenging interactions
• Maintain organized records of all customer communications and appointment schedules
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure smooth scheduling and customer handoffs

Requirements

• Fluent in both English and Spanish with excellent verbal communication skills
• Customer service experience
• Experience answering phones and managing inbound customer inquiries
• Comfortable using CRM systems or learning new software platforms
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when entering data
• Professional attitude with the ability to remain calm and respectful during difficult customer interactions
• Reliable internet connection, laptop, and phone for remote work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the home improvement, flooring, or construction industry is a plus
• Familiarity with Close CRM or similar customer management platforms
• Experience scheduling appointments or coordinating between customers and field teams
• Availability to work occasional Saturdays is a plus
