Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust healthcare applications using modern programming languages and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React, and.NET.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless data exchange between various healthcare systems and third-party services.
• Architect scalable microservices and system designs that support high availability, security, and performance in cloud infrastructure environments like AWS and Azure.
• Integrate diverse IT infrastructure components, including databases such as MySQL and SQL Server, ensuring optimal system performance and data integrity.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including design patterns, version control (Git, SVN), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently.
• Contribute to front-end development efforts utilizing JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular to create intuitive user interfaces for healthcare applications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards for security (RBAC), scalability, and interoperability while designing APIs and system architecture for healthcare environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development within the healthcare sector or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, or C.
• Extensive knowledge of web development technologies such as JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), RESTful API design, and application development best practices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS or Azure, supporting scalable system deployment.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure components including Linux servers, SQL databases (MySQL), version control systems (GitHub, SVN), and CI/CD tools.
• Solid understanding of system design principles for building scalable, secure healthcare applications using design patterns and microservices architecture.
• Ability to work within Agile teams using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver iterative enhancements efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on software engineering principles applicable to complex healthcare systems.
