About the Company

Our client is a specialized Lifecycle Marketing agency focused on helping e-commerce brands increase customer lifetime value and support customer acquisition through retention-driven strategies. The team develops and manages programs across Email Marketing, SMS Marketing, Loyalty & Referral Programs, Direct Mail, and Push Notifications, working with multiple growing e-commerce brands.

About the Role

As an Email Designer, you will be responsible for designing visually compelling, conversion-focused email campaigns and lifecycle assets for multiple e-commerce clients.

You will collaborate closely with lifecycle marketers, copywriters, and implementation specialists to translate campaign strategy and messaging into polished, on-brand creative.

Responsibilities

● Design high-quality email campaigns and lifecycle marketing assets for multiple e-commerce clients.

● Create responsive, conversion-focused email layouts in Figma.

● Translate creative briefs, copy, and campaign strategy into engaging visual concepts.

● Design emails for promotional campaigns, product launches, seasonal campaigns, automated flows, and retention initiatives.

● Maintain consistency with each client’s brand guidelines and visual identity.

● Build and maintain reusable email design systems, templates, and component libraries.

● Collaborate closely with copywriters, lifecycle marketers, and implementation teams.

● Review designs for accuracy, consistency, hierarchy, and usability before handoff.

● Manage multiple client projects and deadlines simultaneously.

● Continuously improve creative based on campaign performance, testing, and feedback.

● Stay up to date with email design trends and e-commerce best practices.

Requirements

● Proven experience as an Email Designer, preferably working with e-commerce or DTC brands.

● Strong portfolio demonstrating email marketing and lifecycle design work.

● Advanced proficiency in Figma is required.

● Familiarity with Klaviyo or other email marketing platforms.

● Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, layout, and brand consistency.

● Experience designing for email marketing campaigns and automated flows.

● Ability to work across multiple brands and adapt to different visual identities.

● Strong attention to detail and ability to produce polished, production-ready designs.

● Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects at once.

● Ability to collaborate effectively with copywriters, marketers, and implementation teams.

● Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have

● Previous experience working in a marketing or lifecycle agency.

● Experience designing for e-commerce / DTC brands.

● Understanding of email design limitations and responsive design best practices.

● Experience creating reusable templates and design systems.

● Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email is a plus.
