Job Description

JSS Digital Design is a digital marketing and web solutions agency specializing in website development, digital marketing, and custom business solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer with strong React, Next.js, and AWS expertise to help design and develop a new E-Learning Management System (LMS).

The ideal candidate has experience building scalable web applications, developing backend systems, managing AWS infrastructure, and integrating or migrating existing applications.

This project involves analyzing an existing PHP/Laravel-based system and developing a modern, secure, and scalable learning platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a new E-Learning Management System (LMS) using React and Next.js.
• Analyze existing PHP/Laravel applications and integrate or migrate existing functionality.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces.
• Design and implement backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Build user registration, authentication, login, and role-based access control systems.
• Develop online course management and video-based learning features.
• Implement online examinations, assessments, and certificate generation.
• Build an administrative dashboard for managing users, courses, exams, and certificates.
• Design and manage relational databases and perform data migration.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain applications on AWS.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Perform testing, debugging, deployment, and ongoing technical improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience developing production applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js or other backend technologies.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.
• Experience implementing secure authentication and role-based access control.
• Understanding of frontend and backend integration.
• Experience using Git and GitHub for version control.
• Ability to analyze existing applications and design modern system architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a project team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience developing LMS or E-Learning platforms.
• Experience with PHP and Laravel applications.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and Route 53.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing online examination and certificate management systems.
• Knowledge of database migration and legacy system modernization.
• Understanding of web application security and performance optimization.
• Experience leading projects from architecture design through production deployment.
