Robotics Developer Jobs in Brazil (Remote)

Robotics Developer roles focus on building, testing, and deploying robotic software systems across simulation and real-world hardware. You will develop autonomy features for mobile robots and manipulators using ROS/ROS2, improving reliability, safety, and performance in production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver robotics features end-to-end: requirements, design, implementation, test, and release
• Build ROS2 packages, launch systems, and message interfaces for sensors and actuators
• Implement and tune localization, mapping, and SLAM; validate using ground truth and field logs
• Develop motion planning and navigation behaviors (trajectory generation, obstacle avoidance, recovery)
• Integrate perception modules (computer vision and point cloud processing) for detection/tracking
• Create simulation scenarios (Gazebo/Ignition) and regression tests prior to hardware runs
• Maintain code quality with reviews, documentation, and automated CI pipelines

Required Qualifications

• Mid-senior experience building robotics or autonomous systems
• Strong C++ and Python skills for robotics middleware, algorithms, and tooling
• Hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience (nodes, TF/TF2, rosbag, parameters)
• Understanding of controls and state estimation (PID/MPC basics, EKF/UKF concepts)
• Experience with SLAM, sensor fusion, and perception (OpenCV and/or PCL)
