Location: Upper Norwood, Lambeth, London
Pay Rate: £166.11 per day PAYE
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Temporary – 22 weeks
Working Pattern: Office and site-based, Monday to Friday

We are recruiting for an experienced Sheltered Scheme Manager to support residents in sheltered housing, promoting their safety, wellbeing, independence and tenancy sustainment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide housing-related support to older and vulnerable adults.
• Welcome new residents, conduct viewings and explain scheme services.
• Develop support plans and monitor residents’ wellbeing.
• Respond to safeguarding concerns and coordinate support with relevant agencies.
• Arrange repairs, monitor contractors and maintain health and safety standards.
• Support tenancy management, voids and anti-social behaviour issues.
• Organise social activities and encourage resident participation.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and scheme documentation.

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience in sheltered housing, housing management, supported housing or social care.
• Understanding of safeguarding, risk assessments and the needs of vulnerable adults.
• Strong communication, organisational and administrative skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and client management systems.
• Experience working with local authorities or partner agencies is desirable.
• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Social Care is desirable.

Working Pattern

This is a fully office and site-based role, Monday to Friday. Working from home is not permitted. The position involves lone working and responding to residents’ needs and emergencies.
