Mobile Developer

A well-established technology business, building a suite of mobile applications connected to a robust backend platform, is seeking a talented developer. With one of their largest customers being a global e-commerce giant, your work will operate at a genuinely huge scale of data and usage, providing a significant impact.

The Role

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter for iOS and Android
• Work primarily with Flutter-to-API interactions, consuming and assisting in the design of REST APIs
• Write clean, testable code and actively contribute to code reviews
• Collaborate with web and embedded teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Participate in sprint planning and technical scoping, moving beyond simply executing tickets

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years’ professional experience building mobile apps in Flutter for both iOS and Android
• Experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs
• Comfort with Flutter state management (e.g., Bloc or similar)
• Baseline computer science knowledge, including understanding concepts like database indexes
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
• A genuine team player who supports colleagues and learns from others
• Clear communication skills with both developers and non-technical stakeholders
