Lead Appian Developer AI

We are looking for a rockstar Lead Appian Developer ready to architect and own advanced AI‑driven capabilities within enterprise‑scale Appian environments. If you’re energized by building agentic, intelligent automation and pushing the boundaries of what Appian + AI can do, this role is for you.

What you’ll do:

• Architect and lead development of next‑generation Appian solutions with integrated AI/ML components
• Design scalable AI workflows, multi‑step agent orchestration, and intelligent automation patterns
• Integrate enterprise LLMs into Appian Data Fabric and process models
• Apply responsible‑AI practices: hallucination control, human‑in‑the‑loop, cost/usage monitoring
• Drive Appian architecture, governance, and mentor development teams

What you bring:

• Minimum active Secret clearance at time of hire (required)
• 7+ years of Appian development experience
• Senior or Lead Appian Certification (required)
• Proven experience designing agentic Appian solutions, including:
• AI Skills and Agent Studio
• Copilot‑assisted development
• Multi‑step agent orchestration
• Responsible‑AI patterns
• Experience wiring enterprise LLMs into Data Fabric and process models
• MCP or equivalent tool exposure for records/processes/rules (required)
