Data Entry Assistant - Remote / Typing

About the Role

This role supports alternate investment operations, with a focus on processing and reconciling trades, transfers, dividends, and other business activity for client and advisor accounts. Although the listing is titled Data Entry Assistant – Remote / Typing, the responsibilities described are primarily related to financial operations, transaction processing, and reconciliation.

The professional will review account activity, investigate discrepancies between TD Ameritrade and external fund companies or transfer agents, and help resolve complex operational issues. The role also involves communication with internal business teams and external partners to ensure transactions are handled accurately and in accordance with applicable requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Process buy and sell transactions for alternate investments in client accounts.

•Review subscription agreements and transfer requests for accuracy and completeness.

•Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies involving client and advisor accounts.

•Reconcile business activity, dividend transactions, and transfer activity.

•Compare records across BOS and fund companies to identify and resolve reconciliation breaks.

•Review relevant tax codes and make corrections to tax coding when needed.

•Support business activity event processing and settlement-related tasks.

•Investigate complex or escalated operational issues and coordinate appropriate resolutions.

•Participate in testing and validation of new technology enhancements and vendor changes.

•Communicate with retail and institutional business teams through email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce.

•Represent TD Ameritrade Clearing in day-to-day interactions with fund companies, transfer agents, contra firms, and other external business partners.

•Support compliance-related obligations, including requirements referenced as 2340 and 15c3-3.
