About Airborn

Airborn is a functional and f ashionable sports jacket brand. Airborn Adventure Gear is a

homegrown, online-first D2C sports and outdoor apparel brand, founded in 2025. W e

design, market, and sell in-house, with manuf acturing done as jobwork through a trusted

partner in Pune. W e launched with a multi-seasonal windcheater jacket and are now

scaling into our second production cycle and a wider product range.

Role: Fashion Designer & Merchandiser

W e’re looking for a fresher who can design apparel that fits the Airborn identity and also

own the merchandising side — assortment planning, sizing, and inventory — as we grow

our SKU range. This is a hybrid role, working closely with the founder and manuf acturing

partner .

Location: Hinjewadi Phase 1, Pune (Hybrid) — we currently operate out of a

rowhouse/apartment setup.

Key Responsibilities

Design apparel (windcheaters, jackets, and future SKUs) in line with Airborn’s brand

identity and outdoor-use needs

Create tech packs, spec sheets, and size charts for the manuf acturing partner

Source and evaluate f abrics, trims, and accessories on quality , cost, and performance

Plan SKU assortment — colours, sizes, size-ratios — based on sales and demand data

T rack inventory , sell-through, and bestsellers; recommend reorders and new drops

Coordinate with the manuf acturing partner on sampling, fit approvals, and production

timelines

Support styling and product presentation for photoshoots and marketing creatives

T rack trends in the sports, outdoor , and athleisure category

Who W e’re Looking For

Fresher (0–1 year experience) in F ashion Design, T extile Design, or Apparel

Merchandising

Degree/diploma in F ashion Design, T extile T echnology , Apparel Merchandising, or a

related field

W orking knowledge of design tools (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop; CL O3D is a plus)

Understanding of garment construction, f abrics, and sizing

Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets for merchandising and inventory tracking

Strong eye for detail and trend awareness

Self-driven and comfortable in a small, f ast-moving startup environment
