Product Manager, Developer Platform

Role Description The Product Manager, Developer Platform, is a full-time remote role responsible for defining and delivering platform capabilities that enable developers to build, deploy, and scale applications on DBByte. Day-to-day, this role gathers and prioritizes requirements from internal and external developer stakeholders, maintains the product roadmap, and collaborates closely with engineering, design, and operations to ship features and improvements. The Product Manager will analyze product performance and customer feedback, translate technical concepts into clear product narratives, and ensure strong documentation and developer experience across APIs, SDKs, and tools. This role also involves coordinating launches, aligning platform strategy with business objectives, and advocating for developer-centric solutions that improve reliability, usability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Product management skills in developer platforms or infrastructure products, including roadmap ownership, requirements definition, and feature prioritization.
• Technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, APIs, storage systems, or content delivery networks, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Experience working with or supporting software developers, including familiarity with modern development workflows, CI/CD, and tooling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data and customer feedback to inform product decisions and measure impact.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating product specifications, documentation, and stakeholder updates.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Previous experience in B2B SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or platform products is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
