Job Description
Senior Golang/AI Engineer – Remote Europe
We are supporting a fast-growing US technology company as it expands its European engineering team. The company operates with a highly autonomous engineering culture.
We are looking for an AI Engineer based in the EU and the UK to work across applied AI, backend development and data engineering.
The Role
You will contribute to the development and productionisation of AI-driven features, working on areas such as:
- Applied AI and machine-learning solutions
- Integration of AI capabilities into production backend systems
- Data ingestion and processing pipelines
- Improving the reliability, accuracy and scalability of AI-enabled workflows
This is a hands-on software engineering position, not a purely research-focused AI role.
What We’re Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience across several of the following areas:
- Strong Golang production experience
- Integrating AI/ML models into production applications
- Backend or platform engineering
- Strong programming ability in a modern backend language
Additional experience with document intelligence, information extraction, LLM-based applications, AI agents or modern AI integration frameworks would be advantageous.
Package
$8,000–$12,000 per month B2B , depending on experience.
The company also provides:
- Paid annual leave and sick leave
- Flexible working arrangements
- Professional development support
- High-quality equipment for remote working
- Participation in a company equity programme
- Long-term, permanent cooperation
The position is fully remote from Europe , with working hours aligned with European time zones. Regular late-evening work with US teams is not expected.
Interested?
If you have a strong software engineering background and want to build production AI systems at a growing international technology company, I’d love to hear from you.
