• Team: Insurance Portfolio – Product Concept & Design, Life, Health & Annuity (LHA)
• About the Team:
• Portfolio Product team reporting through Operations.
• Product Managers focus on strategy and epics, while Product Owners manage quarterly execution, backlog stories, and delivery.
• This role will likely guide two dotted-line Product Owners and partner closely with U.S.-based Engineering, Actuarial, and AI teams.
• Technology environment includes legacy mainframe/COBOL, packaged solutions, and custom-built applications.

• Tell us more about the role. What will this person be doing on a day-to-day basis? What are the main objectives for this role?
• Own Product Concept & Design for Life, Health, and Annuity insurance products.
• Drive product strategy and write epics while partnering with Product Owners on execution and story-level delivery.
• Lead product and solution-design sessions with Actuarial, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
• Translate insurance product requirements, including financial, risk, compliance, and configuration rules, into technically feasible solutions.
• Make strategic trade-off decisions across product and broader enterprise priorities.
• This will be a highly visible role responsible for three of the portfolio’s top four priorities for 2027 .
• Role is focused on strategy, stakeholder leadership, and solution design rather than specific tools .

Must-Have Requirements:

• 7+ years of Product Management experience preferred.
• Strong experience working within a large enterprise environment.
• Strong product strategy, solution design, and stakeholder leadership experience.
• Ability to lead complex design sessions and work effectively with highly analytical stakeholders, particularly actuaries.
• Experience navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and enterprise-level trade-offs.
• Ability to connect business product requirements with technical feasibility.

Preferred industry experience: Life/Health/Annuity insurance first; traditional health insurance second; FinTech with relevant financial/risk/compliance product complexity third.

• Comfortable working across legacy and modern technology environments.
• Tools: Client uses Aha! and Jira, but specific tool experience is not required.

• Location:
• 100% Remote.
• Conversion Salary: Approximately $160K–$180K depending on experience.
• Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire

The projected hourly range for this position is $70 to $80.
