Job Description
We’re expanding our team and looking for current and former teachers who want to put their classroom strengths to work in financial services. If you’re someone who explains hard concepts simply and earns trust one conversation at a time, those same strengths apply here, helping families with budgeting, retirement planning, and income protection.
This is an entry-level opportunity with no financial background required. We provide training and guide you through licensing so you can build your own book of clients while continuing to do what you do best: educate.
Why Teachers Succeed in This Role
Educators already know how to make complex material clear, connect with students and parents, and run their own time well. Those skills carry straight over to helping clients understand their options and feel confident acting on them. Several of our top performers began their careers in the classroom.

- Host one-on-one or small group educational sessions, virtually or in person
- Explain financial concepts in clear, relatable terms
- Help clients understand and put basic strategies into action
- Build and maintain a client base through steady follow-up and service
- Complete required training, licensing, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications
- Strong communication and presentation skills (teaching, tutoring, or training background is a plus)
- Self-motivated and comfortable managing a flexible schedule
- 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Willing to obtain required state licenses (we guide you through it)
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is 100% commission-based and tied to individual production. There is no base salary, hourly wage, or guaranteed income. Earnings depend on effort, experience, and client activity; most part-time agents report monthly income in the range of approximately $1,500 to $5,000, though individual results vary.
