Job Description
Overview:
On behalf of a global private bank, we are speaking with ambitious UK-based Relationship Managers at Director level who want to build a book of ultra-high-net-worth and family-office clients. The London team covers UHNW families, entrepreneurs and family offices and has added senior bankers over the past two years as part of a planned expansion of its UK franchise.
The platform combines investment management, lending and wealth structuring with access to the bank’s corporate and investment banking capabilities. This gives bankers a broad offering for clients whose needs span personal wealth, operating businesses and family-office structures.
The Role
- Originate new UHNW and family-office relationships in the UK, using an established network and a disciplined approach to prospecting.
- Take full ownership of client relationships, acting as the main point of contact and coordinating investment, lending and structuring specialists around each client.
- Grow net new assets, lending and revenue from new and existing clients in line with the team’s growth plans.
- Build referral channels with the wider bank, intermediaries and the entrepreneur and family-office community.
- Take responsibility as client owner for onboarding, KYC, AML and ongoing regulatory standards.
Candidate profile
- Relationship Manager experience at Director level in UK private banking or wealth management, covering UHNW individuals, entrepreneurs or family offices.
- A proven hunter, with a clear record of winning new clients and bringing in net new assets rather than only managing an inherited book.
- A UK network of clients, prospects and introducers that can support new business from the start.
- A good working knowledge of investment, lending and structuring solutions for complex private clients.
- Ambition, commercial drive and the judgement to build long-term relationships in a regulated environment
