Job Description
Lead Technical Safety Manager
Location: London
Contract Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Own the growth and direction of the Technical Safety team
- Lead business development and convert your network into new opportunities
- Act as the senior technical representative with clients
- Lead HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL/LOPA workshops
- Oversee QRA, FERA, EERA, and ALARP demonstration
- Guide Loss Prevention, Safety Case, and COMAH work
- Mentor and develop engineers as the team expands
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Technical Safety, primarily within oil & gas
- Recognised expertise in QRA, FERA, SECE identification, performance standards, and barrier development
- Strong understanding of the UK regulatory framework
- Engineering degree or Master’s, ideally in Chemical Engineering
- Functional Safety and HAZOP Leader certification preferred
