Sr Director Analyst - Physical AI Safety & Security

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Director Analyst - Physical AI Safety & Security to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will shape high-impact research at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and emerging physical AI systems.

You will define research agendas, evaluate market and geopolitical developments, and serve as a trusted authority for executive audiences navigating the risks and opportunities of this fast-evolving landscape.

The position also requires strong relationship-building across the ecosystem, along with clear, insight-driven writing and presentations that influence strategic decision-making.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $172,000 – $202,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead research initiatives on AI safety and security topics
• Develop and execute research agendas for the physical AI ecosystem
• Serve as a primary authority on physical AI safety and security technologies
• Identify emerging trends and potential disruptions in AI
• Lead primary research initiatives, including expert interviews and case studies
• Analyze the competitive landscape of physical AI applications
• Evaluate geopolitical dimensions of physical AI development
• Author research papers on physical AI trends and implications
• Present findings to diverse audiences, including C-level executives
• Cultivate relationships within the physical AI ecosystem
• Synthesize perspectives from various stakeholders on physical AI safety

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred
• Deep understanding of emerging AI software development tools and agent technologies
• Recent experience bringing AI-driven solutions to market
• Strong focus on detail and complex systems cybersecurity
• Critical thinking and self-motivation to analyze emerging technology signals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Executive presence to engage C-level clients
• Foundational understanding of AI risk management
