Work arrangement: Remote — local candidates required; onsite attendance as needed

Salary range: 150,000–195,000

About the opportunity

Build scalable cloud infrastructure supporting DISA Big Data Platform initiatives and DoD cloud modernization. This role brings together software development, Linux administration, systems integration, and infrastructure automation.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build custom software components using Python or Go.
• Integrate open-source technologies into enterprise cloud and Big Data platforms.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code and Ansible.
• Support Kubernetes orchestration and cloud storage technologies.
• Administer Linux systems and develop Bash or shell scripts.
• Troubleshoot platform and integration issues.
• Communicate technical solutions to teammates and stakeholders.

Required qualifications

• Ability to meet the role’s Secret clearance requirement.
• Experience developing and deploying AWS solutions.
• Python or Go programming skills.
• Linux administration and Bash or shell scripting experience.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and Ansible.
• Experience with cloud storage technologies such as Ceph, Rook, or Longhorn.
• Systems integration, architecture design, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred qualifications

• DISA Big Data Platform or Hadoop experience.
• GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Travis CI.
• Puppet configuration management.
• VMware, Proxmox, or oVirt.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification may be required as directed by the customer.
