REMOTE: DevOps Engineer (Mid Level)

Mid-Level DevOps Engineer

Intepros is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our valued client and support their technology-enabled business strategy. In this role, you will ensure stable deployments, optimize cloud infrastructure, and enable seamless delivery of modern software solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Build Infrastructure-as-Code solutions (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Automate deployment processes for reliability and repeatability
• Manage releases across test, staging, and production environments
• Administer application services, databases, and system backups
• Integrate observability and centralized logging tools
• Apply configuration updates to Linux systems and cloud resources
• Troubleshoot application issues via monitoring and log analysis
• Contribute updates to existing IaC solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Document technical implementations and operational processes

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience
• 5+ years in IT operations, integration, or cloud deployment support
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms
• Strong background in CI/CD, IaC, and automation tools
• Containerization/orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/ECS/Fargate)
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of networking, system administration, and security (SAML, Okta, etc.)
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging platforms (SumoLogic, Splunk, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, DataDog)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Relevant certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, Docker, HashiCorp, Kubernetes, etc.)

Technical Skills

• AWS services: S3, CloudFront, ECS/EKS, EC2, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation
• IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation
• Scripting: Python, Bash; proficiency with YAML/JSON/REST
• Databases: SQL (Postgres, MySQL, MSSQL) and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB)
• Tools: GitHub, JIRA, Confluence
