PCC Devops Engineer

Role & responsibilities

The PCC DevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting, automating, deploying, and maintaining the PowerCurve Collections (PCC) platform environments. The role focuses on CI/CD automation, environment management, release support, monitoring, and operational excellence across PCC applications and integrations.

Environment Management

• Manage PCC non-production and production environments.
• Perform environment health checks and sanity validations.
• Monitor PCC batch jobs and integrations.

Support environment refreshes and configuration management.

Release & Deployment Management

• Deploy PCC solutions across environments using Jenkins and automation tools.
• Support release planning and execution activities.
• Perform post-deployment verification and troubleshooting.

Coordinate release activities with developers, testers, and business stakeholders.

CI/CD & Automation

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate manual operational activities.
• Integrate deployment pipelines with Jira and change management processes.

Improve deployment efficiency and reliability.

Incident & Operational Support

• Troubleshoot deployment and environment issues.
• Support testing teams during SIT, UAT, and production releases.
• Analyze logs and perform root cause investigations.

Provide support during planned and unplanned outages.

Monitoring & Observability

• Monitor application performance and batch execution.
• Configure alerts and operational dashboards.

Support proactive issue detection and resolution.

Preferred candidate profile

PCC Platform Knowledge

• Good understanding of PCC architecture and environments.
• Knowledge of PCC UI, Design Studio, Batch Flows, APIs, and integrations.
• Understanding of upstream and downstream interfaces.

Exposure to Groovy scripting within PCC.

DevOps & Automation

• Jenkins Pipeline development and administration.
• CI/CD implementation.
• Git and BitBucket.
• Jira integration and workflow automation.

Release and environment management.

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or private cloud environments.
• Linux/Unix administration knowledge.
• Docker and Kubernetes exposure.

Infrastructure automation experience preferred.

API & Middleware

• REST API knowledge.
• SoapUI/Postman.
• Integration troubleshooting.

XML/JSON understanding.

Preferred Experience

• 5+ years in DevOps, Release Engineering, or SRE roles.
• Experience supporting PowerCurve Collections (PCC) or other Experian products.
• Banking and Financial Services experience.
• Experience supporting collections and debt management platforms.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow and change management processes.
