Part-Time WordPress Website Builder

We build and run websites for local businesses across Florida, mostly contractors and home service companies. We need someone to help with day-to-day production as we grow and take on more clients.

This is a W-2 job, 20 hours a week, fully remote for Florida residents, with hours that fit around a school day.

What you’ll do

• Handle change requests on live client sites (copy, images, layout fixes) and check every change on desktop and mobile
• Clean up older client sites (spacing, broken layouts, mobile issues)
• After your first month or so, build new sites in WordPress (Avada theme) using provided website designs
• Stage every change on a hidden page so it gets approved before anything goes live
• Join a 30-minute video check-in with me every weekday morning

What you won’t do

• Client calls or sales. I handle every client conversation, so you can stay focused on the work.

You’re a fit if you

• Have built or edited sites in WordPress (Avada or another page builder is a plus)
• Can read and edit HTML and CSS well enough to fix a section that breaks on a phone
• Pick up new tools quickly
• Follow a written process closely and ask before improvising
• Catch small things: uneven spacing, a phone number that doesn’t match, an image that runs off the screen
• Have a reliable computer and internet connection

You don’t need to be a senior developer. You do need to be careful and reliable. The schedule works well for parents and students.

Pay and schedule

• $25 an hour to start, moving to $27 an hour after your first solo site build passes review
• 20 hours a week, Monday to Friday, flexible within business hours
• Fully remote, Florida residents only
• W-2 employee, paid through payroll
• Room to grow into more hours as we add clients

How our hiring process works

• Apply and answer the screening questions.
• A 30-minute video call where we share screens and look at real work together.
• A short paid skills test: $50 for about an hour of work in your browser.
• Offer. You’ll sign our employee agreement, including confidentiality, before day one.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
