Website & App Experience Tester — Part-Time Contract

Job Summary

Help shape something new. Porchlight is an early-stage startup looking for curious, detail-oriented people to test its digital experience and share honest feedback.

You’ll explore features, try everyday tasks, and help us discover what’s easy, what’s confusing, and what could work better. Your feedback will directly help improve the experience as Porchlight grows. No coding experience required.

Duties

• Test features and complete common user tasks.
• Identify bugs, confusing instructions, or frustrating steps.
• Document your findings with clear notes, screenshots, or occasional screen recordings.
• Retest updates to see whether the experience has improved.

Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable using websites, apps, and new technology.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to explain your observations clearly.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Testing or customer experience background is welcome but not required.

Pay & Schedule

• $28 per hour.
• Approximately 5–15 hours per week until testing complete, depending on project needs, equivalent to $140–$420 per week when working those hours. Could be more, and ongoing depending
• Project-based, independent contractor work (1099).
• Hours and assignments may vary, with potential for additional projects as Porchlight grows.
