**Senior Software Test Automation Engineer Web & Mobile**

We’re looking for a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer who combines strong automation expertise with a hands-on mindset and the ability to build scalable testing solutions from the ground up.

What will you do? 🛠️

• Design and build test automation frameworks from scratch .
• Maintain and continuously improve existing automation frameworks.
• Develop automated tests for Web and Mobile applications , including Android and iOS.
• Work with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress and/or Appium .
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines .
• Perform performance testing and contribute to improving application quality and reliability.
• Leverage AI tools to optimize and improve test scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with technical and business teams.
• Troubleshoot issues independently and help resolve incidents efficiently.

What are we looking for? 🔎

Must-have:

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation / Software Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch .
• Experience with Web and Mobile test automation .
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium .
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines .
• Experience with performance testing .
• Advanced English .
• Availability to work with sufficient Pacific Time (PST/PDT) overlap for key meetings and incident resolution.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience working across both Android and iOS .
• Experience using AI tools for software testing and test scenario optimization .
• Experience creating scalable and maintainable automation architectures.
• A proactive and autonomous mindset.
• The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Being a fast learner who can quickly adapt to new technologies and environments.

📍 Location & Work Model

This is a LATAM opportunity . The work model will be hybrid in locations where hiberus has an office , and fully remote where there is no hiberus office .
