Qualifications
Medical Assistant Responsibilities
- Perform clinical and administrative duties to support healthcare providers
- Greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage medical records
- Collect vital signs, medical history, and health symptoms
- Prepare patients and exam areas for procedures
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed by authorized staff
- Maintain infection control and ensure sterilization of instruments
- Provide patient education regarding medications and general health maintenance
