Remote Customer Service Representative

individuals to join our team as Seasonal Tax Preparers for the upcoming tax season.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with preparing and filing individual income tax returns
• Collect and review client tax documents for completeness
• Enter tax information accurately into professional tax preparation software
• Follow IRS guidelines, due-diligence requirements, and company procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of all client and taxpayer information
• Communicate professionally with clients throughout the filing process
• Participate in required training and software instruction
• Build and maintain positive client relationships

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must obtain or currently have an active IRS PTIN before preparing federal tax returns for compensation
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Comfortable working with computers and learning tax preparation software
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to learn
• Previous tax preparation experience is helpful but not required

Training:Training and guidance will be provided to help team members learn our tax preparation software, company procedures, client service expectations, and tax-season workflow.

Schedule:Seasonal position during tax season. Scheduling flexibility may be available depending on business and client needs.
