About the Opportunity:

The EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING DESIGNER role is responsible for designing scalable, engaging learning experiences that enhance learner engagement and success. This position uses adult learning science and data analysis to improve educational outcomes, ensuring graduates are prepared for high-demand careers. The role contributes by advancing curriculum quality and supporting the organization’s mission to deliver practical career preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop online learning products aligned with the organization’s learning model and accreditation requirements.
• Apply instructional design and cognitive science principles to align learning outcomes, activities, and assessments.
• Collaborate with program directors, subject matter experts, and faculty to create effective learning experiences.
• Maintain learning products within the LMS, ensuring compliance with design, accessibility, and quality standards.
• Participate in quality reviews and continuous product improvement.
• Develop authentic assessments for experiential application of course competencies.
• Analyze data to monitor and enhance program performance.
• Integrate emerging design concepts and technologies into programs.
• Manage multiple projects from initiation to delivery, implementing effective solutions.
• Stay informed of developments in higher education, instructional design, and cognitive science.
• Contribute to a collaborative, innovative team environment.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Adult Education, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in online instructional or curriculum design for higher education.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills focused on student-centered development.
• Proven ability to apply creative pedagogical and technological techniques.
• Excellent presentation and organizational skills.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Pay range: $65,000 to $70,000 annually.
