Job title: Plant 3D Designer
Location: Simi Valley, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Arrangement: Hybrid initially; potential for 100% remote after onboarding
Position Overview
Seeking a Plant 3D Designer with strong experience in AutoCAD Plant 3D and 3D piping design . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently while collaborating with engineers and project managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D piping and equipment models using AutoCAD Plant 3D .
- Create piping isometrics, orthographic drawings, layouts, and design deliverables .
- Coordinate designs with engineers and project managers.
- Review models and drawings for accuracy and potential conflicts.
- Use basic Civil 3D for site layout and civil coordination.
- Manage project files and meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D .
- Experience with 3D piping design, isometrics, and orthographic drawings .
- Basic knowledge of Civil 3D .
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Simi Valley during initial onboarding .
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
