Senior UX UI Designer

Lead the design of intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling digital products and services from discovery through implementation. The role requires a strong balance of user experience, interface design, interaction design, prototyping, and design-system expertise, supported by AI-driven workflows that enable rapid exploration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process, including discovery, user flows, information architecture, wireframes, interface design, prototyping, testing, and implementation support.
• Translate business requirements, research insights, and user needs into simple and effective digital experiences.
• Design responsive experiences for web, mobile, dashboards, enterprise platforms, and emerging digital channels.
• Use AI tools to accelerate ideation, benchmarking, UX writing, user-flow creation, interface exploration, prototyping, and design validation.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Claude, ChatGPT, Base44, Lovable, Figma AI, and similar AI-enabled design and development platforms.
• Build functional prototypes and proof-of-concept experiences using AI-assisted platforms when appropriate.
• Create high-fidelity designs, interaction specifications, responsive behaviours, and developer-ready documentation.
• Contribute to and govern the design system, including components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and usage standards.
• Design in compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA and inclusive-design principles.
• Collaborate closely with researchers, product owners, business analysts, developers, QA teams, and other designers.
• Plan and support usability testing, incorporating findings into design iterations.
• Conduct design reviews and Design QA to ensure the implemented product accurately reflects the approved experience.
• Use analytics, user feedback, and performance data to improve live products continuously.
• Present design rationale and recommendations confidently to senior stakeholders and mentor other designers.

AI and Emerging Technology Expectations

• Demonstrate fluency in AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Base44, Lovable, Figma AI, and equivalent platforms.
• Use AI-building tools to create working prototypes while maintaining design-system, usability, security, and accessibility standards.
• Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, originality, feasibility, accessibility, and alignment with user needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve the team’s design workflow through responsible automation and AI-enabled delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, Visual Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in UX and UI, product design, or interaction design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking and polished interface design.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, auto layout, interactive prototyping, and design-system management.
• Proven experience designing responsive web and mobile products.
• Strong understanding of user-centred design, usability, information architecture, interaction design, and accessibility.
• Ability to use AI-building tools to produce functional prototypes and accelerate design validation.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, front-end frameworks, and development constraints is highly desirable.
• Experience with enterprise platforms, government services, or complex workflows is preferred.
• Excellent visual-design, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is highly preferred.
