Job Description
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly accomplished Executive Assistant to join a leading boutique executive search firm in the heart of Central London on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is far more than a traditional EA role. Working as a true right-hand partner to two highly respected Partners, you will become an integral member of a close-knit, collaborative team known for delivering outstanding results to an impressive portfolio of clients. The firm has built an enviable reputation within the executive search market, advising some of the most prestigious organisations and leadership teams across its specialist sectors. The successful candidate will join a business where professionalism, excellence and teamwork sit at the core of the culture. Despite operating at the highest level, the environment is refreshingly collegiate, supportive and down-to-earth. Team members work closely together, genuinely value one another’s contributions and take pride in maintaining a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
This position offers a rare level of autonomy, trust and ownership. The Partners are seeking a proactive, commercially minded EA who enjoys anticipating needs, managing competing priorities and acting as a trusted extension of the leadership team. You will be empowered to take ownership of your workload, make decisions and become deeply embedded in the day-to-day operations of the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex and ever-changing diaries for two Partners
- Coordinating high-profile executive search assignments from inception through to completion
- Managing search project timelines and ensuring key milestones are met
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and senior-level candidates
- Coordinating interviews, meetings and assessment processes
- Arranging complex international and domestic travel itineraries
- Supporting business development activity and client relationship management
- Preparing candidate reports, presentations and client-facing materials
- Assisting with the planning and execution of networking events and client functions
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting the smooth running of search processes
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous Executive Assistant experience within executive search, private equity or a similarly fast-paced professional services environment
- Outstanding organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to build credibility and rapport with senior stakeholders and clients
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to operate independently
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a calm and professional manner
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EA who enjoys working at pace, thrives in a client-facing environment and is looking for a role where they can make a genuine impact. You’ll be joining a highly regarded firm with an outstanding reputation, working alongside an impressive team of professionals who are passionate about what they do and supportive of one another’s success.
If you’re looking for a role where you can operate as a trusted partner, enjoy significant autonomy and become part of a respected and collaborative business, we’d love to hear from you
