Marketing & Lead Generation Virtual Assistant

Oakdayle Cleaning Services is looking for a reliable, creative, and self-motivated Virtual Assistant to help grow our local cleaning business.

This is a very part-time, flexible remote position to start, approximately 3–5 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as the business grows.

This role is primarily remote, but the ideal candidate is local to Washington County or nearby and comfortable with occasional local marketing activities such as dropping off flyers or information packets to businesses.

The primary goal of this role is not simply to create social media content, but to actively help generate qualified local leads and recurring cleaning clients.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential cleaning clients and referral partners within approximately 20 miles of Washington, PA, including property managers, apartment complexes, realtors, Airbnb/short-term rental owners, contractors, small offices, salons, and other local businesses
• Determine which prospects are a good fit for Oakdayle Cleaning Services
• Maintain an organized lead tracker to avoid duplicate outreach and document contact history
• Conduct personalized outreach through email, social media, or other appropriate channels
• Follow up with potential leads approximately 5 days after initial outreach when appropriate
• Notify the business owner when a prospect is interested in pricing, an estimate, or more information
• Promote Oakdayle Cleaning Services appropriately in Washington County Facebook groups, community pages, neighborhood groups, and other relevant local spaces
• Help identify seasonal promotions and local marketing opportunities
• Assist with Google Business Profile visibility and keeping business information consistent online
• Follow up with past or happy clients when appropriate for Google reviews and referrals
• Track which marketing channels, posts, groups, and outreach efforts are generating inquiries and leads
• Help improve the lead-generation process over time based on results

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with social media, marketing, virtual assistance, lead generation, or small-business support
• Strong written communication skills
• Comfortable using Facebook, Instagram, Canva, Google Docs/Sheets, and basic online research
• Able to work independently without needing constant direction
• Organized and dependable
• Extremely comfortable reaching out to potential customers and businesses professionally
• Comfortable being measured on lead-generation activity and results, not just social media engagement
• Experience working with a local service business is a plus, but not required
• Experience with cleaning companies, home-service businesses, real estate, property management, or similar industries is especially helpful, but not required

Schedule

Approximately 3–5 hours per week to start.

Hours are flexible, and work can generally be completed on your own schedule. There is no requirement to be online for a specific shift each day.

Additional hours may become available depending on performance, lead generation, and business growth.
