Salesforce Developer

Andersen is hiring a Salesforce Developer in the US for a project enhancing a customized Salesforce platform and supporting sales, operations, and financial processes.

It provides expertise across strategy, organizational transformation, leadership, and business communications, combining strategic guidance with practical support throughout implementation. By working closely with leadership teams, the company helps clients improve performance, strengthen organizational capabilities, manage change effectively, and achieve sustainable business outcomes.

The project is focused on developing and enhancing a highly customized Salesforce platform that supports sales, operations, project management, and finance processes. It includes project and resource management, operational and billing workflows, new feature development, system administration, troubleshooting, and integrations with external financial systems.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining Salesforce functionality using Apex, LWC, SOQL and Flow.
• Supporting and enhancing Certinia PSA functionality and related business processes.
• Working with projects, assignments, schedules, resources, timecards, milestones, staffing and billing-related processes.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting complex existing functionality, including legacy code and overlapping automation.
• Implementing new business requirements and adjusting existing functionality as client processes evolve.
• Designing configurable solutions using Custom Metadata where appropriate instead of hardcoded business rules.
• Working with Certinia managed-package objects, permissions, validations and internal logic.
• Supporting Salesforce administration activities: objects, fields, validation rules, permission sets, access management and Flows.
• Investigating and troubleshooting integrations with external systems.
• Developing and testing changes using Salesforce sandbox environments.
• Supporting deployments and changing management.
• Communicating directly with client stakeholders, gathering and clarifying requirements.
• Estimating tasks and communicating dependencies, technical limitations and risks.

Requirements:

• Strong Salesforce development experience for 4+ years.
• Hands-on development experience with Certinia / FinancialForce PSA.
• Practical understanding of key Certinia PSA objects and processes, including Projects, Assignments, Schedules, Resources, Timecards and Milestones.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, including classes, triggers, batch processing, and asynchronous execution.
• Strong experience developing Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Proficiency in SOQL.
• Experience with Salesforce Flow and other declarative automation capabilities.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, object model, security and permissions.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations / APIs.
• Experience working with complex and/or legacy Salesforce environments.
• Ability to investigate dependencies between custom code, managed packages and automation.
• Sandbox-based development and testing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of development tasks.
• Experience with requirements clarification and task estimation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with non-technical client stakeholders.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.

• Experience with other Certinia modules: Accounting/FFA, GL, AR/AP, Revenue Recognition, ERP Core, Reporting, VAT/tax or Bank Feeds.
• Experience with Boomi.
• Experience with financial or banking system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with SFTP-based integrations.
• Experience with Aura Components and Aura-to-LWC migration.
• Experience working with Salesforce Custom Metadata Types.
• Hands-on experience with Declarative Lookup Rollup Summaries (DLRS).
• Experience with Full Copy Salesforce sandboxes.
• Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Certinia certifications/accreditations.
