About the Role

Electric Pen is looking for a Graphic Designer with proven presentation design skills, and the range to take on a broad mix of project types.

Presentation work carries significant weight in this role. You will turn complex information into clear, compelling visual stories for executive audiences, client communications, keynotes, industry conferences, and leadership summits. You will also be expected to contribute across branding, marketing, and other visual design work as the studio needs it.

Great presentation design is more than making slides look good. You will help shape information into thoughtful visual narratives that engage an audience, support a strategic goal, and reflect our promise: dramatic results without the drama.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce polished, high-quality presentations, primarily in PowerPoint.
• Transform complex, technical, or abstract information into clear and compelling visual stories.
• Take on a broad range of design projects beyond presentations, including brand, marketing, and other visual work.
• Collaborate with creative and account teams to develop design approaches that communicate the client’s message.
• Create materials for executive audiences, keynote events, conferences, leadership meetings, and other high-visibility settings.
• Work with clients, senior stakeholders, speakers, and event teams on cohesive visual narratives and presentation frameworks.
• Ensure designs align with client brand standards, objectives, and expectations.
• Adapt presentations for live, virtual, and hybrid environments.
• Contribute to presentation design processes, templates, and standards.
• Stay current on presentation design trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven presentation design skills, demonstrated in a portfolio of real work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional design experience, with significant presentation design experience. Agency experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, and strong working knowledge of Keynote and Adobe Creative Suite.
• A strong digital portfolio showing presentation design, visual storytelling, typography, layout, and overall craft, plus examples across other project types.
• Experience designing executive communications, keynotes, or other high-visibility presentations strongly preferred.
• A working style that fits a kind, collaborative, low-drama studio. Culture fit is as important as talent and experience.

• Ability to manage several projects and priorities against tight deadlines.

• Ability to work collaboratively and take feedback well.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and senior stakeholders in a fast-paced agency.
