PL/SR Front-end Developer (React)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PL/SR Front-end Developer (React) based in Brazil. As a PL/SR Front-end Developer, you will build modern, scalable web interfaces with a strong focus on user experience and technical quality.

You will use React, TypeScript, and JavaScript to transform product requirements into efficient and intuitive digital experiences.

The role combines hands-on development with opportunities to contribute to frontend architecture and technical decision-making.

You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Backend Engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Your work will span new feature development, reusable components, API integrations, performance, scalability, and maintainability.

You will also contribute to code reviews, engineering best practices, and continuous improvements to the user experience.

Working with international teams, you will have the opportunity to contribute to complex digital products in a collaborative and technology-focused environment.

Accountabilities

• Frontend Development: Develop, maintain, and evolve modern web applications using React and TypeScript, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
• User Experience: Create responsive, intuitive interfaces with a strong focus on usability, quality, and overall user experience.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Backend Engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business and product requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Technical Decisions: Participate in the definition of frontend solutions and contribute to technical decisions that support application evolution and scalability.
• Architecture & Components: Develop reusable components and contribute to the continuous improvement of frontend architecture and development standards.
• API Integration: Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services, ensuring reliable communication and data flows.
• Quality & Performance: Maintain high standards for application quality, performance, scalability, accessibility, and long-term maintainability.
• Engineering Practices: Participate in code reviews, promote development best practices, and identify opportunities to improve both technical quality and user experience.
• International Collaboration: Work effectively with distributed teams and professionals across different areas in an international environment.

Requirements

• Frontend Experience: Solid professional experience as a Frontend Engineer or Frontend Developer, with strong hands-on expertise building web applications.
• React: Strong practical experience with React and the ability to develop scalable, maintainable frontend solutions.
• TypeScript & JavaScript: Advanced proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Web Technologies: Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS, together with experience developing responsive web applications.
• API Integration: Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• UX/UI: Good understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to translate user needs into effective digital interfaces.
• Frontend Architecture: Knowledge of frontend architecture, reusable components, coding standards, and modern development best practices.
• Collaboration & Git: Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
• Autonomy & Ownership: Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical challenges, and contribute to engineering decisions.
• English: Advanced English proficiency for effective communication with international teams.
• Valued Experience: Background in fintech, banking, payments, trading, crypto, or financial markets; experience with complex financial products or platforms; knowledge of Angular or other frontend frameworks; international work experience; previous experience as a Tech Lead or Frontend Lead; and knowledge of frontend performance, accessibility, and scalability practices are considered valuable differentiators.
