TelePsychiatry PMHNP or Physician's Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic TelePsychiatry PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) or Physician’s Assistant to join our innovative telehealth team.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments via telehealth.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Monitor patient progress, and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.
• Document all clinical encounters accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, medication adherence, and wellness strategies.
• Participate in case management activities, including triage of urgent cases and follow-up scheduling.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a PMHNP or Physician’s Assistant with appropriate state certification for psychiatric practice.
• Proven experience working with diverse populations, including children, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and EMR/EHR systems, and a willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications, psychopharmacology, and clinical assessment techniques.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Experience working in behavioral health settings or integrated care environments preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams across virtual platforms.

Pay: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
