Job Description
At Think Us , we’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join a long-term project in the Real Estate / Housing Data industry.
Details:
🌎 100% Remote LATAM preferred 📄 Contractor Full-time 40 hrs/week⏰ Central Time
⏳ Long-term
We’re looking for a hands-on engineer with strong experience in Python Backend, Data Engineering, BigQuery, SQL, and GCP , capable of owning features end-to-end.
Key Requirements:
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Strong Python Backend & API development in production
- BigQuery + advanced SQL with large datasets
- Production experience with GCP Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Monitoring, Load Balancing
- Experience with ETL, data pipelines, background jobs & async processing
- Knowledge of React / Next.js / TypeScript to contribute to an existing frontend
- Experience with Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot , or similar AI coding tools
- Strong system design, performance optimization, debugging, and Git
- Advanced English for daily communication with international teams
Nice to have: PostHog, geographic/time-series data, high-traffic applications, or Real Estate/Housing Data experience.
