MarTech Developer – Salesforce Marketing Cloud – Remote

Empiric are supporting a leading organisation on a long-term MarTech development requirement, with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), API integrations and email development.

This is a high-priority opportunity for an experienced hands-on developer to join an established technical environment and support the development, integration and optimisation of customer marketing solutions.

The client is specifically looking for a development-focused profile rather than an architect , so strong hands-on coding, integration and SFMC delivery experience will be essential.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) development.
• 3–5+ years of SFMC experience.
• REST API integration, including authentication and error handling.
• HTML / CSS email development.
• MJML.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and performance optimisation.
• Hands-on software development and integration experience.
• Experience developing and supporting solutions in production environments.

Nice to Haves

• BlueConic or similar Customer Data Platform (CDP) experience.
• Experience integrating SFMC with external platforms and APIs.
• Cross-client email testing experience.
• Experience within regulated industries such as telecom or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Build and support REST API integrations.
• Develop responsive email templates using HTML, CSS and MJML.
• Create and optimise complex SQL queries.
• Integrate SFMC with external platforms and systems.
• Support troubleshooting, testing and production deployments.
• Work closely with technical and business teams to deliver MarTech solutions.

Contract Details

Location: EU / Nearshore – Portugal preferred

Work Mode: Remote

Contract Setup: Freelance / B2B

Duration: 12 months
