Phone Research Assistant — Temporary Remote Position

We are looking for a reliable person to research and call businesses in Oregon, USA, and collect contact information for their purchasing or vendor intake staff.

Responsibilities:

● Work through a provided business list.

● Use Google, Google Maps, and business websites to find each location’s phone number.

● Call businesses using a company-provided internet calling account and script.

● Identify the person who handles purchasing or new vendor submissions.

● Collect their name and email address, along with any vendor submission instructions.

● Accurately record contact information and call notes in Google Sheets.

● Follow up when the appropriate person is unavailable.

● Flag businesses that share the same purchasing contact.

The main goal is to build an accurate buyer contact list for email marketing. No sales closing is required.

Requirements:

● Clear spoken English and a professional phone manner.

● Comfortable making outbound calls and researching businesses online.

● Strong attention to detail and basic Google Sheets skills.

● A computer, reliable internet, headset, and quiet workspace.

● Available for overnight work in the Philippines.

Schedule:Tuesday–Saturday in the Philippines:

● Midnight–8 a.m. during Pacific daylight time.

● 1 a.m.–9 a.m. during Pacific standard time.

These hours correspond to Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. in Oregon.

Duration and pay:This is a temporary project. Project length and compensation will be agreed upon before starting.

We provide the business list, calling account, script, and spreadsheet.
